How content of web page change without reload ?

Many student are unable to find out how the content of web pages  change without reload

 It might be inbox of  your gmail,  on refresh button click no page reload takes place but mail got updated


It might be form on submit ,without reload it show you that you are already registered .

Not a valid number when you fill somewhere your wrong mobile number in a moment it will show you popup , the mobile number is not valid.






For example if you refresh reload button of mailing list no loading shoes on browser loading previous to the URL bar .

so ajax is used for like a post and increase the count of likes behind the scene without reloading the page this simply makes a request to server and code runs on server which update the like count .
